Hi folks,
This thread is about faith in general, not faith in a particular religion, martial system, specific person or idol. I wish to discuss personal faith. I also wish to discuss 'blind faith' since they are commonly seen as the same thing.
To put the conversation in context, whenever discussing or learning anything new in Shaolin Wahnam, our tenant is not to accept something on faith alone (regardless of who is saying it) but to give it an honest shot and evaluate the results after a certain timeframe.
An example would be practicing Chi Kung. If you did what you were told to do and didn't deviate from the instruction in any way, then by the above tenant you could expect to achieve the results within a suggested timeframe (not your suspected timeframe). If you didn't achieve the results, then you would have to ascertain why. If you have not trained properly or decided to 'enhance' your training, then you have not given it an honest shot.
This is just an initial post to start the debate and I will write a more detailed explanation of the trainined method later.
Cheers,
