Dachen Quan use the best of Tai Chi, Xingyi Quan and Bagua as longer I know! So except that Dachen Quan(Yiquan) have no much sparring forms to use can we said that Dachen Quan is the most internal art that resemble Shen Men Tao just because it takes the best of the other 3 internal arts?
I don't think we can make that analogy. Yi-Chuan (Intention Boxing) or Ta-Cheng-Chuan (Great Achievement Boxing) initially stems from Hsing-Yi Chuan, and as such has always had a closer connection to Hsing-Yi Chuan than to either Tai-Chi Chuan or Pa-Kua Chuan. It is related to these methods mostly in that Yi-Chuan uses the same principles in training and in the application of Internal Power in its techniques. That is why it is classified as an Internal Martial Art like those styles are.

I wish to share with the participants in this Forum the following post of Sifu Stier in the opening of a thread about Shaolin Kung Fu in his shen Men Tao Forum (http://shenmentao.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17).
*****************
I wish to open this section of our Forum by sending out a Special Shen Men Tao Salutation and Tribute of Gratitude and Respect to Grand Master Wong Kiew-Kit and the Sifus and Membership of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute for their generosity in allowing me to establish a greater public awareness of the Shen Men Tao System on their fine Forum. Many thanks and continued best wishes to you all!
On behalf of Shaolin Wahnam, I would like to thank Sifu Stier for his kind words, and also to wish him all the best in his noble effort to expand public awareness of the Shen Men Tao system.
I nearly lost sight of the original reasons for posting on this forum, namely to establish a greater public awareness of the Shen Men Tao System of Taoist Internal Martial Arts. This...I believe I have successfully done. I am grateful to the Shaolin Wahnam Institute for the opportunity to achieve this goal here.
However, I have in several instances spent far too much time arguing and debating issues of little or no importance to my set goals. As such, I find that I need to seek calmer and more friendly discussion elsewhere. I have no desire to remain any longer where I feel that I am disliked, disrespected, and unwanted.
I sincerely hope that the many wonderful friends I have met here will visit me at my new home: www.shenmentao.com/forum/
I look forward to future, friendly discussion with you there. Thank you all very much!
I am truly sorry you feel that way, but I respect your choice. I wish you the very best and I'd like to see your website flourish one day. Thank you for everything you have given us!
Sifu Stier
For what it's worth I wish you all the best. All things considered I've enjoyed your stay on this forum despite the happenings of late. I can understand you getting fed up of defending yourself after some time, I daresay it would get to me after a while too.
Anyway I'll not bring up any old debates, just honestly wish you the best.
I have no desire to remain any longer where I feel that I am disliked, disrespected, and unwanted.
For what it's worth, you are neither disliked, disrespected, nor unwanted. I like you. I do my best to show respect (even when disagreeing). And I am sad to see you go (which suggests that you are wanted). Of course, I also respect your choice to leave. You know where to find us if you ever change your mind. We'll still be here, and you'll still be welcome.
As such, I find that I need to seek calmer and more friendly discussion elsewhere.
In my opinion, this is the calmest and friendliest martial arts forum on the Internet. But that is only my opinion, and I respect your right to disagree. In any case, I wish you the best of luck building your own forum, and sincerely hope that you find the calm and friendly atmosphere you are seeking.
I sincerly wish you the best in achieving your set goals for the Shen Men Tao System. It was an honor to have you here, and we certainly do not dislike or hate you. It’s actually quite the opposite. Thank you for everything and good luck Sir.
Respectfully,
MoMo.
