At time when I am in the midst of induced Qi flow or standing meditation, there is an intense itch at certain part of the body. it is likely due to some tiny insects as it happens only when I am practising outdoor.
My question is what is the best way to tackle such situation. Should I do a quick scratch over the part or should I try to bear it and just continue with what I am doing.
My own take on it is:
- If you can ignore it, do so
- If you can't ignore it, scratch
However, if it happens to be a mosquito (common in your parts right), I'd prefer not to have it on my skin. I know how annoying insects can be during a chi flow - and I generally gently remove them whilst still flowing. If I get an itch which is not caused by external influences (like insects), I try to ignore it as it could be a sign of chi working on a particular area for some reason.
