Congratulations to Chief Instructor of the U.S.A., Sifu Eugene Siterman
As announced on Sifu's website, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Sifu Eugene on being the new Chief Instructor of the US. May you spread the Shaolin arts far and wide my brother!
Congratulations Sifu Eugene : May you continue the helm to preserve and transmit The Shaolin Arts : To Enhance Health, Combat Efficiency, Mental Freshness and Spiritual Joy through Shaolin Kungfu, Chi Kung, Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) and Zen.

I was lucky enough to be there when Sifu told Eugene. It was during breakfast in the mountains of southwest Virginia during our road trip from New York City to St Petersburg. We were sitting around the table eating and talking about nothing in particular, and then Sifu grinned his big "I'm up to something" grin and said, "Actually, I think Eugene should be the Chief Instructor of USA!"
I think we were all surprised for a second (at least I was). Not by the choice, but by how Sifu's statement seemingly came from out of nowhere. My first thought was, "It's about time!" (Sorry, Sifu! ) My second thought, which was thankfully the one I verbalized, was, "YES!"
There is starting to be some exciting movement in our USA Wahnam Family. Things are starting to really come together harmoniously, which is particularly challenging given how spread out we are from each other distance-wise. I'm excited to work together with the rest of the USA Wahnam Family under Eugene to continue to grow and bring the benefits of the Shaolin Arts to more people throughout the country!

I wish I was there to see Siheng Eugene's response when Sifu made the announcement! Looking forward to the accomplishments that our American Wahnam family will do
