    Direct Experience

    Dear Tim,
Firstly I wanted to congratulations on doing this, Kyokushin fighters are tough I would say that they are on par with Thai Boxers........maybe even tougher.

To step into that arena shows great qualities in you.

Also now you have had direct experience of Full Contact and it give you an honest appraisal of you situation.

You now have point that you can progress from in your training and start to measure and see the changes.

It is a fantastic place to be

    Peace

    Mark

Thanks alot for the nice comments and kind words! I asked for full contact, and that's exactly what I got. I'm glad my head doesn't hurt anymore

I am grateful to my cousin-in-law for willing to make time for this and his support.

I'm also going to seek out opponents wich less skill, in about a month, and share my experiences here.

Dear Jas Siheng, yes I will be at the tournament. And you?

        Best regards,
        Tim

          Dear Tim,

          Thanks for sharing.

I wish you the very best with your training..

You are very dedicated and have been doing lots of Sifu's courses.

I admire how you have started down the sparring path.

One thing i thought i would mention given my recent upset..

and as you are training a lot on your own, i urge you to be extra cautious.

The past masters mentioned the importance of gradual progress, so be mindful of that, Dear Brother.

We have plenty of time for training.

              Dear Tim Sidai,

Congratulations on your first experience of full contact.

To avoid continuing to learn the hard way, I'd suggest you use the 30 Opponents program Sifu advised

              All the best,

Speaking from experience: it (30 opponents programme) is excellent and there are many 'wow, I didn't know I was already that good' experiences

                          Just a poem

                          Just a simple poem.
Cleansing can sometimes be poetic, haha.

                          in one blow
                          I search I find

I'm sorry for the crazy poem above, some things came up yesterday and I just posted it without thinking, and I was a little drunk I have to admit.

I'm back from the Valentine courses in Ireland since 2 days ago, and it was amazing. I learned my first weapon set - the legendary Wudang sword, and gained insight in the first 6 of the 36 Strategies, and the skill of using a one pointed mind to clearly put them to work. I am not an expert but the skills are here to cultivate.

I also learned alot about our School and Lineage. It is an honor to be a student of Sifu, to be a part of this great School, and I am extremely grateful for the chances to cultivate myself and practise these amazing Arts.

I have been a bad student, neglecting sequences, and sometimes dwelling on cleansing and other stuff and thus only practising Chi Kung and no Kungfu. I create my own blockages I realize now. Instead of pushing through, I take a step back and indulge even more.

I never lied here on the forum, but I have not kept up with some plans I shared here.

I will post more regularly again. I will do it mostly for myself, to push myself and to be more inter-acting here on the forum. It is offcourse great if my brothers and sisters can be inspired to share more themselves, so we can all learn from each other.

I am reaching the age of 30 this year, and it is time for me to grow up.

I had a great experience last week, leaving me very humble, and very grateful. I am able to heal straight from my mind, and straight from my heart, and I have experience and the conformation now aswell.

I am going to put this gift into use soon.

In the following days I will post my new training schedule, and then follow up with posts about my progress.

My very best regards to my wonderful Family,

                            Tim

                              Tim Siheng,

Thank you for your post, many of the things you said matched closely
                              the thoughts I have had.

                              I enjoyed your poem

Was great to meet you on the Baguazhang course.

To me at my low level you already had LOTS of force. You must be doing something right

                              Hope to meet again soon!

                              Jamie.
