  • Uses for Jow-

Ok..after a little looking around and gathering information i am still stumped on,
What Truely does jow do ...( jit da jow)
why people use it for there iron palm training...
And what is it compared to an tiger balm rub...or tiger balm liniment. And the main uses for the tiger balm etc
( and i apologise if these questions have already been asked or answered.)
    Thanks Guys.-

    Re: Dit Da Jow

Most Dit Da Jow linaments are designed to relieve local swelling and/or inflammation, thereby reducing acute injury pain, and to help dissolve dead blood cells which form the 'black and blue' appearance of a subdermal hematoma (bruise) so that no future obstruction or blockage of blood circulation remains in the bruised or injured area. From this you can see the benefits of using it in Iron Palm training or for sparring bruises. Because of the alcohol content to preserve the herbs, Jow of any kind should never be applied to open wounds, scrapes, contusions, cuts, etc., and should not be used near the eyes, nose, or groin unless you're looking for a really memorable experience. Ouch! Aiyeeeeah!

Tiger Balm is indicated more for tired, aching muscles after overexercising, like too many reps with weights, and for mild muscle strains, as it has a warming effect which helps the muscle tissues relax, expand, and lengthen to
their normal pre-exercise state. Tiger Balm in any form is not for bruises, but only for sore muscles usually. Hope this helps you!

I have a small tube of cream lying around the house called tiger balm but i never had any idea what it is. So your saying it will provide relief to strained overused muscles? if so im going to start using it on my shoulder because i always use it too much in dancing or even everyday things.
