So much for the triumph of facts and reason over dogma. Looks like 4 more years of being embarrassed to admit that I'm an American.

CNN's exit poll showed Kerry beating Bush among Ohio women by 53 percent to 47 percent. Kerry also defeated Bush among Ohio's male voters 51 percent to 49 percent. Unless a third gender voted in Ohio, Kerry took the state.
this bit is just plain hilarious lol.

Thats a decent article but I've read others like it, I dunno how much truth they hold. Its at times like this I am glad not to be an American voter : with so much information, misinformation, propoganda, rumours etc flying both ways it becomes damn near impossible to know the truth. Everyone has their own truth according to their agenda....

          (my 2 cents sorry)

At least I can say that my state's a blue one, not like yours, Anthony...

But we must remember to have compassion for those poor souls who voted for Dubya, and lead them out of the wilderness through our words and actions.

Or see if we can get the South to secede again, and this time... LET THEM!

              Well Anthony

Sorry to hear that you are not happy.

I personally don't know what to think, there are so many different views/opinions about dubya that i'm not sure what i really think.

The only thing i can say is that maybe Kerry would not have been any better either, you never know.

In my mind what will be will be, and i trust in faith to ensure that Dubya does not cause to much damage or even start a world war.

                  Hey Anthony,

I felt more disappointed but I'm fine now, although reading this thread did stir up feelings. I just remember you used to say "maybe Bush is right, there is no global warming"
BTW, I am an American citizen and I'm not embarrassed. Let karma carry itself out.

Arrghh. Don't get me started. I did my best down here. I voted twice and everything!

The only thing i can say is that maybe Kerry would not have been any better either, you never know.
There may be some cosmic reason for all this, which is another issue. Nevertheless, I think it's pretty clear to anyone who accepts fact over dogma that anyone would be better than Bush. And yes, that includes Kerry.

I should have gone and voted in Ohio, where they needed it! On the other hand, I might have gotten racially profiled!

"I think the puppet on the right is more to my liking"
"hey, there's one person holding up both puppets
"SHUT UP!! Go back to bed america your government is in control"

Despite everything else that is done, I have yet to find any goverment that is fully appreciated while it is in power. I have found that most people prefer to complain instead of adapt, or insinuate weakness instead of strength.

History is full of many examples of leaders being considered tyrants within their own lifetimes, yet looked back on in History as 'Great Leaders Who Shaped Our Nation'. I'm not condoning what's being done, but I wouldn't be surprised if the History books 200 years from now had a very different perspective.

I already knew that Bush would win several months ago, even without studying any political information. I would have found it extremely surprising if he had lost. As to the reasons why I was sure, that's a whole other conversation but the fact remains, he won.
