Hello everyone, my name is Cody, I'm 23, and I hail from Alaska an just started Wu-Tan Kungfu an a Chen Taiji Class. I was rather fortunate to have a old friend of mine start up a school here in the town I live in after studying under Master Kurt Wong for 10+ years. So I am excited to join a forum like this and hopefully better my understanding of a new world I wish I had joined long ago.
If anyone knows of some good Wu-Tan books so I can do my training at home that would be wonderful! I just got done reading the Magus of Java, which absolutely blew my mind. Pretty scary stuff if you ask me. I have always been into meditation which I've done off an on since I was 14 but I had no idea about anything relatively close to what they described in that book. So if anyone knows any good Neikung books I would love to look more into that, having always the innate ability to feel energy quite well I would love to further my education in that field as well. I had asked Master Kurt Wong at the Grand Opening for the Wu-Tan School if they would be providing any Internal energy techniques such as guided meditation or anything of that sort. I was reluctant to receive a heart felt "No" followed by a brief description of yin yang energy and how he has seen some fairly scary things happen. It was extremely Intriguing. Needless to say I wont be getting any more on the subject from him for now. But perhaps later.
So that is where I am right now, I hope you all enjoyed my little introduction. I hope to find a good home here at this forum and thank you all for having me.
Best Regards,
Cody.
