Look at these guys, apart from the obvious lack of a hand their expressions are quite concerning. These sort of expressions are the sort of thing, along with head movements, that I noticed play a big part in a modern wushu demo. Maybe not quite as silly, but 'put on' or 'forced' facial expressions for sure.
This looks more like the kind of person that staggers past my house after closing time on a Friday night ! Often making the same move as this guy, but directing it at anyone who passes by !
