I randomly came across this thread and thought I would add what I can remember as I was given this tricky little toungue twister in our class in february.
Here's what I can remember.
四 是 四 - Sì shì sì - 4 is 4
十 是 十 - Shí shì shí - 10 is 10
十四 是 十四 - Shísì shì shísì - 14 is 14
四十 是 四十 - Sìshí shì sìshí - 40 is 40
四 不是 十 - Sì búshì shí - 4 is not 10
十 不是 四 - Shí búshì sì - 10 is not 4
十四 不是 四十 - Shísì búshì sìshí - 14 is not 40
四十 不是 十四 - Sìshí búshì shísì - 40 is not 14
I think that was it anyway
It is most definetly easier to write than say, especially when you try it with increasing speed!
