Another strange title, you may think?
THe case in question is a lovely woman in her 60s. She was recommended to me by her daughter.
About 9 months ago, suddenly and without apparent reason, this lady developed some severe pain in the groin region. This was accompanied by pain in the opposite knee. She has been to specialists including conventional and alternative (e.g. osteopathy) practices. Their conclusion -- hip problems = arthrosis!
During my first examination I could already tell her the problem is not arthrosis --- at least not where the doctors said! This lady was somewhat sceptical to my approach and methods, but open enough to try .... and she is glad that she was open enough!
The initial examination also exposed some other problems including a severe bladder problem. When questioned, she confirmed and explained further.
Moving on, the first treatment was concentrated on the main issues --- groin area and bladder. The results after this first treatment were very promising. She was able to move her leg into positions that had been impossible for the past 9 months!
During the second session, a week later, I noted that the bladder problem had more or less disappeared. However, I didn't mention that and continued to work on the groin and the knees. The improvement in the "hip" (i.e. groin) was now clearly noted -- she could walk normally again.
A couple of days ago, we met for the third session. I was presented with a strange question, but one which left a smile on my face. "Did you do something with my bladder?" she asked. "Of course", I said. "Do you remember our first session? Why do you ask?". Her reply was that she had suddenly realised that her problem in this region had disappeared. A lovely smile crossed her face.
She also took the time to demonstrate how she could now get up from a chair normally and without having to hold or support herself. Now we only have the knee left to work on. Our session this weekend was filled with smiles and laughter. She now also has her homework to do. As she lives many hundreds of kilometers from me, it will likely be some time until we can meet for a next treatment --- if it is even needed
