  • Writing Diary and Zen

    Hey Family,

some Christian Monks and Nuns are writing diaries. I am not certain about their goals, but it seems to be a part of their spiritual way.

How does diary writing contribute with Zen practice!?

Can it be used as a form of Zen?

I am looking forward for your opinions.

    Best regards, Anton.
    Engage and maintain joyful practice!

May all of you get the best benefits from what you do.

          Dear Taisipak,

Thank you for the lesson. My last post lacked clarity - in 'trying' to be, rather than being.

I was eating, I read your post. As I read my thoughts stopped and I became aware of the emptiness of the eating, of everything.

          Love,
          Nick

            Hi dear family,

            listen to this without listening...

I just had a wonderful experience while listening to this beautiful song. A feeling I've had a few times before after chi kung sessions with Sigung. I feel so free, so blessed, so peaceful. I'm just drifting in the sacredness of the present moment.

Thanks to Sifu, Sigung and the past masters for enriching my life.

                Dear Benedikt,

Thank you for the link to this wonderful song.

It is nothing short of amazing. My heart sings with joy when I hear it! I bought the album, and I am happy to say that the other songs are fantastic as well.

                With joy,
                Erica
