    Cantonese: thiew ngow than kam
    Cantonese (Yale): deui3 ngau4 daan6 kam4
    Mandarin (Pinyin): dui4 niu2 tan2 qin2

    Please note that the first and second set of characters are the traditional and simplified characters respectively.

      Please note that Sifu does not provide the romanisation for this term. These are merely a couple of possibilities for this saying in Chinese.

        I always heard it as tan2, but the dictionary also lists dan4, so I guess both are correct.

          it is DEFINITELY tan2, not dan4 in this case. Dan4 means an object, tan2 is used as a verb.
