Cannabis doesn't make you unfit as such. But it certainly doesn't make you fit either. Fit in this sense is physical fitness. I would say that mental fitness would diminish with excessive cannabis consumption.
I thought that it was the students who got to hit you with the stick, and that you only hit them if they were exceptionally good
Ah .. er ... don't be so dualistic
Several of the Scottish students have also quit smoking canabis as well. Their testimonials can be found on this Forum and here on the Scottish website.

In my experience, smoking marijuana is not neccesarily bad. Taken in small amounts it is very effective in getting your chi flowing. Taken in excess, however, it will cause your energy to dissipate rapidly, resulting in a drastic loss of energy. You probably know this from your own experience, as I do from mine. Needless to say, practicing chi kung will give you a much safer and more enjoyable way of "getting high". Now I have no need for this, or any other drugs. If I want to feel good, I feel good!
Just thought Id let you know that the Edinburgh class only excepts new students every few months. Not to pressurise you at all but if you miss the April open class there will not be another till June/July or even as late as August, due to the timing of the summer camp.
Anyway by all means take your time I just thought you may like to know this.
