Xingyiquan Sparring

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've posted here, and it's great to be back here after so many years!

Considering today's sparring and fighting standards, this is pretty impressive if this is indeed freestyle.

Hi,

Judging from the video only, it seems that the left opponent is a master and the right is a student. It seems that they were demonstrating some applications in a freestyle way.

I liked the applications, specially the one at 0:40. It had good timing and good flow The left opponent is obviously higher skill than the right one (you can easily tell that by the way he pushes the other guy to the corner over and over, by his steady stance and calmness, control, etc).
The last application was also very nice, you could see power being issued from the stance (It seems to me that it's a Bow&Arrow stance, although a little different from the stance I've learned).
