  • Ear, Ear!

    Another recent interesting case

Male, late 30s. Came to me suffering from what seemed like a severe infection / inflammation of the middle or inner ear. By the time he came to me, he had lost his hearing in the left ear and was in such pain, he couldn't sleep. Also his balance was impaired.

Despite all of the problems, he didn't really want to go to his doctor.

I treated him once, although it was quite an intensive session.

That night, he was in even more pain (as expected -- I did warn him ) as the infection was drawn out. The next morning, he could hear again, the pain had reduced significantly and his balance was restored. A day later and all symptoms had gone completely!

          Curing Ear Infections

          Sifus,

I wish to share how I cured someone of a ruptured ear drum. Patient was in her 30 when a doctor cleaning her ear fungal infection caused a puncture and perforation about 5mm wide. Patient could not hear and was in distress and doctor says it may not heal and could require surgery. I built up chi in both hands and as soon as the chi column is felt at a distance of 2 feet between both hands, I moved hands to each side of the ear and focus energy through the ear which had perforated to the other side. Treatment was done 15 minutes every session and at the end of it, patient was asked to do squats 15 to 20 times to mobilise the spine so that chi could travel down to her tantien.
After 3 weeks of nightly treatment, examination was done by same doctor who discovered that the rupture had healed and a new skin had bridged the tear.
Contraindications: On the third night of treatment, patient complained of bad pain in the ear which went on for three nights and disappeared. Hearing returned in 2 weeks.

Any sifu reading this may use the same technique to aid healing of torn muscle or tendons.

That sounds like you did a very good job. Well done.

I would just add that it is not advisable for others (who are not trained) to attempt such feats. Better leave this kind of work to those who know what they are doing to avoid problems for both Client and Healer.

                Just A Practitioner

No, Mr Kissey, I do not operate any clinic. My skill is insufficient to do so. What I have done, however, is to promote what I know about qigong. For those who are patient, and humble, and willing to learn more, I point them to the best qigong technique that I think is suitable for them. Not everyone is able to pick up any type of qigong because of personal limitations. I myself have been fortunate to learn from several sifus, including the honorable Sifu Wong Kiew Kit.
Despite having practiced for over 20 years now, I feel that what I have scratched is just the surface of this wonderful art. My ear-infection curing was done out of desperation and love for a loved one. The instructions I have given is just as simple as it is written here - it is up to one to believe it or not. The doctor who saw the results were amazed and asked me what the patient had been given. He had never seen such amazing recovery.
I told him nothing. In fact I even complimented him for curing the patient with western medicine. If you are wondering why I did not tell him, let me explain.
If I had told him about qigong, he would have been as sceptic as any doctor of over 25 year's experience. If he believed me, on the other hand, it would disrupt his belief in the form of medicine he had been practising half his life.
Taking into consideration all these ethical questions, i decided not to say anything except attribute it to a miracle.
Sometimes, as a qigong practitioner, one need not go into lengthy arguments about the efficacy of one's practices. Good health from it is better testimony. Winning arguments in discussion does not help anyone except boosting one's ego.
Thank you, Sifu Andrew, for your note.

Are you referining to my signature? Then yes I am aware. The chinese call it chan buddhism. Wuji, I believe refers to taoism in which it has has similarities and parallels. However, I am far from sudden enlightenment. I'm only enjoying the little things.

Back to topic, it inspires me because I believe I have a few torn tendens I like to reslove. Im about to get an MRI to confirm it. So great work Andrew, I look foward to hearing more.
