Sometime, after my Shaolin practice, there is great joy. Unexplicable, simple, calm and wonderful joy. So, for no particular reason other than sudden great love for everything, I would like to share this joy here with this post.
Thank you for this life, its changes and its lessons. Thank you to all the past masters for their genuine love, and thank you Sifu for opening my heart
Thank you Hubert Sisook
for sharing this, its very nice
At this occasion I'd like to sign in for this:
Thank you for this life, its changes and its lessons. Thank you to all the past masters for their genuine love, and thank you Sifu and Sigung for opening my heart
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He who knows much about others may be learned, but he who understands himself is more intelligent. He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still.
I know that feeling of love for everything. It is wonderful. It is overflowing joy.
(I never really understood the word joy until I came across Sifu talking about 'spiritual joy', and then experienced it after practising chi kung that I learnt from him. Joy almost seemed like a silly word to me before - as if it really just denoted feeling very happy or excited. Now I know it's got nothing to do with excitement. It's a very distinct, lovely thing.)
One thing I like about feeling love for everything is the way it makes you feel so AT HOME in the universe. Feeling at home in the universe is now a common experience for me, and that's another result of my chi kung and all the comes with it.
