And, dear Family, I'd like to share my good news: my stiff legs are now completely relieved! And what a new feeling now I have in my legs! Continuously I have this cool streams inside.
Yes! Joko Siheng, I was really feeling for you at the end of the course and during the time we spent travelling. This is wonderful news

      Wow! Wow! and Wow again!
My deep congratulations and warmest Shaolin salute to all who were fortunate enough to attend. What an incredible experience. And great thanks to all for sharing the joy and wonder of such a course with the rest of us. Really, truly, thank you all.

        Water Buffalo are Tough

I have one word to say:

        AWESOME!

I'm one of your Wahnam brothers who very rarely "feels" anything worthy of mentioning here during his daily practice. But this course blew away any doubt I had lingering. I remember standing listening to Sifu after one of the sessions and feeling so joyful I thought I would explode

The day after the course I was laying in bed on my side, facing the wall, drifing off to sleep, when something hit me on the back of the head so hard I thought I'd been knocked unconcious. When I finally came around, I checked the room to make sure I hadn't been robbed. I felt fine and after talking to my wonderful brother Pascal, we came to the conclusion it wasn't a mugger, but chi clearing a blockage in my head.

Sifu came out with some real gems that will continue to put a smile on my face for the rest of my life. I could go on, but I don't want to make everyone who wasn't there feel any worse

        Kindest regards

Ah, that's a kind and compassionate intent and it is much appreciated.

            Welcome home everyone!

I've found it really moving to read the responses here and particularly, to look at that group photo.

Seeing my classmates George and Alex, my wonderful Siheng Marcus, as well as others like Sifu Anthony and Sifu Joan who have helped me so much over the years, makes me so proud to be part of this incredible family. It is truly awe inspiring to reflect on the blessings that are open to us with the ever-generous guidance of our Sifu.

We had a great class in London on Tuesday; during the opening chi kung session I felt a strong connection to you all, and tasted a little of the bliss you experienced. This is all so wonderful!

Congratulations to all, and heartfelt thanks to Sifu

            With love, respect and gratitude

I am feeling like I have a lot more mental clarity than usual.

Yesterday, I started learning the Ho Family Flowing Water Staff set. It only took me about 45 minutes to learn and memorize the patterns and their order in the set (usually it takes me quite some time to learn new things).

I have also noticed that I am finding it quite easy to remember things like the combat sequences we compose in class. This is despite my brain feeling a bit overloaded with information from the Special Intensive Kungfu course that we are attending at the moment.

Head feels like it is buzzing, but stuff keeps going in, so I am not complaining.

                  -

I have felt a big energetic change the last 4-5 days.

I sense that the cleansing and releasing you did at the Advanced Chi Kung course have affected all of Shaolin Wahnam in a very direct way.

This feels very uplifting and brings even more joy into my own practise knowing that i am not only clearing and releasing for my own benefit but for everyones.

So for you that couldnt make it this time, just enjoy the benefits and be grateful to thoose attending.

                  Sincerely,
                  Niklas

This mental clarity would certainy come in handy for me at the moment while trying to familiarize myself with the weapon forms for UK summer camp. I won't embarass myself by saying how long it takes me to go through each video clip . But I am glad as I am enjoying it so much I don't want it to be over too quickly.

                      'hui-yin'

This is a little stimuli added for those who want to attend the next Advanced Chikung Course:

                      - Normally, at the completion of our practice session, we gently think our dan-tian, right? And chi is stored there.
Yes, we always do like that, and therefore, tend to take it as granted.

Has it ever occurred to your thought that the instructions would be like the following?

                      - At the completion of your practice session, gently think of your hui-yin, and let chi accumulated there.
-Rub your hand, finish your practice, and then go into your daily routine, being aware that this time chi gathers in your hui-yin.

Well, after reading the above instructions, what do you think?

                      Thanks,
                      Joko

PS. This is for fun only, do not take it too seriously, or try doing it without proper supervision.

Of Advance chikung course and Durians

                        Salute to all,

Sifu's teaching methodology is always superlative, impeccable, meticulous and above all, original.
One wonders why Sifu made repeated pronouncements about an impending Durian feast for the last day. Being off-season and all, yet more than a dozen of the fruit managed to materialise.

Perhaps this was part of the course. An assessment of us at the
                        "level of the mind".

For some who are able to 'detach' or 'submerge' their sense of smell and taste, they 'enjoyed' the Durian feast.

For others, perhaps our senses are still very much 'attached' to our minds.

                        Just pondering about Sifu...........

                        Kinds Regards to all.

                          Hello, Captain Emanuel,

Welcome to the Forum! I am very happy to read your post.

And you've raised an interesting point from something, that, at first glance, seems to be ordinary. Yes, I agree, the 'durian party' shows that Sifu's method is extraodrdinary.

Looking forward to meeting you again, soon,

                          Your brother,

Durian smells like Hell, and tastes like Heaven, as the saying goes...

But this will not distract the perfectly clever and cream of the crop people like myself from thinking how strange and bizarre you people really are.

                              So strange.

Like if I could close my eyes, relax and just gently move without my own volition. I would call myself a very strange person. Better eat a Durian.
