Dear Shaolin family who attended the Advanced Chi Kung course with Sifu,
Congratulations on a wonderful course! I am delighted to hear that everyone had such a meaningful time.
Dear Joko-san,
I would like to express my respect to you for the fact that you would be so generous in sharing your personal experiences with us.
It is one thing to say "how wonderful" or "how awful" something is, but it is quite another to actually share the details. In sharing the details with us, you give us the gift of vicarious experience.
Thanks to your post, I was able to enjoy a 'taste' of the powerful and profound course with Sifu.
Thank you for your excellent post. I was "concerned" for you during the course but I was not for one instant worried because it was so clear to me that you were cleansing, on your way to a new level of physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual attainment.
"Then how could chi kung overcome diseases where the cause is unknown or when there is no cure? The question is actually incorrect. The expressions "the cause is unknown" and "there is no cure" are applicable only in the Western medical paradigm. The expressions no longer hold true in the chi kung paradigm. In the chi kung paradigm the cause is known, and there is a cure."
Last night was Kai's birthday, and we stayed up until 2:30AM drinking and celebrating
I cant believe I fogot to say the words in the next paragraph but given the exitement of the advance chi kung course I guess its just about forgivevable:
A belated BIG BIG happy birthday to Taisipak Kai if you are reading this taisipak. I am really looking forward to recieving your teaching and meeting other members of Shaolin Wahnam at the warrior project in Scotland in May.
I think it would be nice to talk about Sifu's teaching of the Small Universe as compared to other expereinces of the small universal flow.
On the first day of the course, I realized that the Small Universe we were learning was on the level of mind. As we went through the process it felt that not only chi, but shen was being made to flow through our small universe; Sifu was directing our energy and our minds into a harmonious flow around the ren and du meridians. A great maturity of my mind was confirmed for me that night(the night of the first day, when we achieved the small universe) when I closed my eyes to go to sleep, as my mind filled the whole room(remember Chris? ); a wonderful feeling.
Where would we be without our Master? Not only has Sifu given us this teaching safely, correctly, and with unprecedented speed, but it has been transmitted to us on such a high level.

I have been asked by Sigung to convey his thanks to all the course participants for the opportunity to teach this wonderful course.
This course is one of two best and most rewarding courses that he has taught in 30 years. Just to put things into perspective, the other one was a very special course on Blue Mountain a few years ago that was greatly honoured by Bodhisattva Guan Yin's visit and blessing.
On reflection, we were blessed by Bodhisattva Guan Yin during, before, and after the Course.
I've just noticed that in all of my 4 flights (Bandung-KL, KL-Penang, Penang-KL and KL-Jakarta) were right on schedule up to the minute; my checked-in luggage was always in the first 7 items when I collected it. It very rarely happened during my many air travels.
On my way home I was with Mark B, Chris, Sihings Jeffery and Anthony S. to Penang Airport. I noticed that their flights departed on schedule, too. Then I saw Mark's and Jeffery's posts in the Forum; noticing the time of their posts, I know their connecting flights from KL were also on time.
I wonder whether the other attendants had the same experience (nice travels).
On the first day we visited Kek Lok Si Temple, I could feel the energy and blessing from Guan Shi Yin Pottsa. I was there in 2005, but I could feel the significant difference.
And, dear Family, I'd like to share my good news: my stiff legs are now completely relieved! And what a new feeling now I have in my legs! Continuously I have this cool streams inside.
Namo Guan Shi Yin Pottsa,
Joko
