    A Little His/Herstory

    Hi there ladies and gents,

    I'd love to read up more on our history and I thought I'd like to start with Grand Master/Mistress (?) Lim Yit Liang

    I was just wondering if anyone could recommend where I might start - any book or website recommendations perhaps?

    I've done a little bit of searching but am coming up with nothing

    If memory serves from what SiGung was saying at Summer Camp, she studied at the Shaolin temple during the day but (being a woman) wasn't allowed to reside there.

    I just think it would be so interesting to know how a woman, so long ago, came to/be able study KungFu there...
