  • Journal of Chinese Martial Studies

This is my first post, since I'm still a beginner (learning under Sifu Daniel Pérez from Barcelona) and was just reading the forums for some time, but at last I have something to post Although not sure this is the correct forum, so please forgive me if it's not.

So, I read in a Spanish Taichichuan forum about this new online magazine:

whose 1st issue can be downloaded for free:

Just started reading it, and also, since my knowledge is still limited, I'd really like some more experts' opinions on how it looks, and if it's got a good future of promoting the real arts Wahnam excels at.

    Dear Rodrigo

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the magazine link. Even if I do not agree with some of the articles, I like their scholar-warrior approach and the fact that they are trying to include some of the less known martial arts. I also enjoyed reading the article on Taijiquan.

    Regards
    Andrea

They are also updating the website to complement the articles with multimedia materials online. Personally I like their approach of bringing different perspectives and both historical and actual topics together in one magazine. Thus I am looking forward to read issue 02.

            Hi Rodrigo

Yes I did subscribe. I find the price very reasonable and having worked in publishing myself I believe good initiatives like this one should get a chance.
I will post an update once the second issue has arrived.
