I recently read this book and I must say I love it. It is a record of a seven day retreat with Master Nan Huai -Chin written by one of the participants. The book is actualy a record of Master's monologues, where he quotes from another Masters or another sources with intention to instruct or enlighten his students. He quotes Chan and Taoist sources and his teaching is very close to what Sifu is teaching us.
Instead of "Let go!" he uses "Drop it!" He also underlines that main chi route has to be opened if someone would like to attain enlightenment.
For example:
I recommend it to all who are interested in this subject.

Instead of "Let go!" he uses "Drop it!" He also underlines that main chi route has to be opened if someone would like to attain enlightenment.
For example:
"Drop everything! When not a single thought arises, the whole appears. Where does it appear? Don't play with your idle thoughts. Don't use reason. This matter cannot be explained by logic. That is why ch'an is special transmission outside the scriptures, not depending on words and letters. When your consciousness and thinking calm down, for example, it is only the stilness of the mind. Do you think Tao is that easy?"
Most people think that nothingness is emptiness and fall into manifestation, into permanence. Emptiness means to empty out all forms. Forms all are empty, but the nature is not....: the ten thousand things and I are One.
Where is nirvana? It is rights here. After you see your self nature, then you can help the world, the people. Even though you are living in a confused, busy world, your mind will never be moved.

Marko
