I am very honoured and pleased to announce that Shaolin Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit will be returning to Ireland for the 'Valentine's Smile from the Heart' week February 6th -15th 2009.

I know it is early but it is never too soon to be making those important plans!

There will be lead up preparatory courses on Shaolin Kungfu -4 abridged with Sifu Mark Hartnett and Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan -Old Eagle catches Snake with Sifu Joan between now and mid December.

I look forward to seeing many of you back again and many new faces also

Its always wonderful to have Sifu back in Ireland and to have Sifu teaching all the arts is even more exciting. Each time Sifu visits the courses get better and better.

The Sinew Metamorphosis course last year was certainly one to remember.

A good question!

For those interested in taking part in the Shaolin Kungfu with Sifu during Valentine's week, the new venue is The Europe Hotel in Killarney.

As this has only been confirmed during the week, the new updates are now on the website

Please feel free to check out the beautiful tours which are kindly being organised by Maria. This is always a very special part of the Valentine's week. Tours are organised for the Shaolin Kungfu and Shaolin Chi Kung courses.

It is very apt that the courses are all in The Europe now, as the lake near the hotel is named Loch Lein. This area was the seat of learning in ancient times for the princes and elite of Europe.

Now elite arts are being taught here again, thanks to Sifu and his generosity and wealth of knowledge

A very large thank you to Sifu for a week of wonderful courses again in Ireland.

A special thanks to Sije Joan for organising this week again. Joan the hotel my God was amazing.

Great to meet some new faces and also some old ones again. The highlights for me were Dan Tian Breathing and Sinew Metamorphosis. Everytime Sifu comes he seems to step the level up so much. My mind has never been so clear. I have learned not only the treasures of our Shaolin Arts but also how to enrich our lives in every way and to enrich others close to us too. We are so lucky to Sifu as our teacher.

Not only is Sifu a Grandmaster in Shaolin but a Grandmaster in teaching and life too.

Dear Joan,
thank you for another wonderful course. This was my third year running in Killarney and there's no doubt that they just get better and better.

It was beautifully organized as always and the choice of venue was absolutely breathtaking - literally surrounded by spectacular lakes and mountains.

As Sifu pointed out the selection of chi kung courses you chose are the most advanced he teaches regionally and no doubt this was responsible for him taking me deeper than I have ever been before.

With all my heart Sifu - thank you.

My warmest regards to all those who were on the chi kung courses. You're lovely folk to spend time with and I very much look forward to seeing you all again next year.

My sincere thanks to Sifu for yet again surprising everybody with his depth of knowledge and ability in taking students to places of awe, wonder and joy

The Valentine's was a joy to organise and take part in myself. How blessed we are.

It was wonderful to have some of the overseas students back again - Andrea and Ben and also to have Nick and Mareck join us for the first time. Your presence enhanced the whole week.

My deepest thanks also to those who participated in demonstrations and helped in any way to make the Opennight such a success. Especially my thanks to Maria, Peter, Mary C, Mary O B, Clare, Mark McG and Dominic for their willingness to stand in front of a big crowd and perform. Well done

I would like to thank Sifu Joan for again holding a wonderful course in such a fantastic location and for giving us all the opportunity to be in contact and to recieve teachings from a genuine Shaolin Grandmaster, as usual we were all spoilt!

I would also like to thank Sigung for the courses that were so generously taught and for giving the rare gift of spending extra time outside the courses teaching us some sequences of Eagle Claw KungFu and there applications. To say this years Summer Camp will be a gem is an understatement and if at all possible I will be there!
