  • Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung - New London class

Do you wake up in the morning feeling more tired than when you went to bed, even after 8 hours sleep?

Do you ever find yourself feeling older than your years when taking part in daily activities?

Is your thinking cloudy or fuzzy?

Do you feel like going back to bed early in the afternoon?

Do your emotions feel like riding a roller coaster, up one minute and down the next?

Do you ever find yourself wondering if there is more to life than “This”?

Do you have habits you don’t like and don’t seem able to do anything about?

Do you catch colds and “bugs” easily?

Would you like to take the power back for your health, happiness and well being?

If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions then Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung could be the answer you are looking for.

For those who don’t know, Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung uses gentle external movements in harmany with the breathe to generate an internal flow of energy or “Chi”. This flow of chi works to remove blockages from your physical body, emotions and mind. The special ingredient that makes Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung so unique is that before we practice we attain what is called a “Chi Kung State of Mind”. Without this skill chi kung becomes gentle exercise, which whilst better than doing nothing, will not bring you benefits like vibrant health, emotional strength and mental clarity. To gain these benefits you must practice Chi Kung as Chi Kung and not gentle exercise. How to attain this essential “Chi Kung State of Mind” is a skill best learnt directly from a certified instructor.

A student I worked with the other day mentioned how he had started to wake up in a morning feeling refreshed for the first time in over 20 years! I took my first Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung course in 2000 and after a few months of regular practice my wife commented on how much nicer I was to be with (I’d got off the white knuckle ride that was my emotional instability). Last week I heard from a student who had used one of the patterns I will be teaching on the course to overcome an illness that had seriously damaged the quality of his life. Yesterday a student in my London Shaolin Kung Fu class commented how more self confident he felt as a result of his practice. I could go on and on giving examples of how Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung has improved the lives of those who have taken a course like this one. But I think the best way to find out if something works is to try it for yourself.

I will be teaching a new Shaolin Cosmos Chi Kung class in London, starting on Saturday 4th November. I can’t give full details now as I’m finalising details for the venue, but I plan to start the class at 10am and finish at 12pm. To register your interest and to request further information as it becomes available; to reserve a place or to ask further questions please contact me at marcus.santer@shaolinwahnam.co.uk.

I look forward to teaching you the skills and techniques that will allow you to take back the power for your health and well being.

    Kind regards
    Marcus Santer

For anyone thinking about doing this course, I’d say grab the opportunity. My Siheng Marcus’s teaching skills are of the highest order, and his weekly Shaolin Kungfu classes are a real joy to attend.

Just to give one personal illustration of the benefits of our chi kung, I’ve had severe asthma and other respiratory problems for most of my life, and was affected really badly by extreme temperatures – especially prolonged hot weather spells. I’d have to increase steroid use, generally stay indoors for days on end, and a few times ended up in hospital.

Well, this summer was the longest and hottest on record. One evening during class I suddenly realised – instead of sitting by the phone in case I had to call the ambulance, I was out, enjoying the summer, training kungfu! The most miraculous thing was, I hadn’t even thought about it till that moment - I had no asthma attacks or significant breathing problems the whole summer.

My health and quality of life improved dramatically from the moment I first trained with Sifu, but I’ve found longer courses and regular classes have their own advantages, charging up and consolidating the progress we make in solo practice. The benefits Marcus Siheng speaks of above are very real, and not a day goes by when I don’t feel immense gratitude for these wonderful arts.

I have attended Sifu Marcus' chi kung course early this year and
would highly recomending it to anyone. Not only are you being taught a
great syllabus but it's also taught well!

What prompted me to post this message is an actual conversation I had with
my cousing last week. During my yearly family visit we were discussing the usual family situations and he stopped mid way through our conversation to ask me "What happened to you? You seem so chilled and calm."

I can assure you that before I started chi kung I was anything but! And
that is only the tip of the iceberg.

If you have the chance I would attend the chi kung course.
