Dear all,

The next Warrior Project Training for 2006 with Sifu Kai Uwe Jettkandt will be held during the weekend of 2nd and 3rd December 2006 in Milano, Italy.

THE SEMINAR : The seminar will take place at the “Sport Centre La Comune”, in via Novara 97 – Milano
(phone and fax +39 02 4071559)
Sifu Kai Uwe Jettkandt will offer the following time table:
Saturday, 02 December: 14.00 – 16.30, 17.30 – 20.00
Sunday, 03 December: 10.00 – 12.30, 14.00 – 16.30

The seminar will contain about 10 hours of training. Sifu Kai will teach accordingly to the needs and the levels of participants. As already noted elsewhere in the forum, the Warrior Project is open to those who are practicing either Wahnam Shaolin Kung Fu or Wahnam Taijiquan and who have reached at least Level 2 in their respective curriculums within Shaolin Wahnam.
The cost for the training is 120 Euros per person and prior booking is required.

THE AIRPORTS :
For those coming from further away, the Milan airports are two:
Aeroporto di Linate : it is the city airport of Milano, 7 km far from the city center. A bus service links the airport with the city center (piazza S. Babila). The bus stop is just in front of the arrivals terminal exit, and the trip to Milan center takes about 25 minutes. The ticket (“ATM ordinary ticket”) can be bought at the newspapers shop in the airport at the price of 1,00 euro. Daily a bus leaves the airport each 10 minutes from 6.00 a.m. till 0.57 a.m. of the following day. The Milan center (S.Babila stop, and Duomo stop) is served with the Milan Undeground Line 1 (“red line”), accessible with the same ticket (“ATM ordinary ticket”) bought for the trip from Linate Airport.
Aeroporto di Malpensa : The airport is 45 km far from Milano city. A railway service (Malpensa Express) links the airport with the city (piazza Cadorna), and the trip takes 40 minutes. The railway station is at the first floor of Terminal 1, and there you can buy a one-way ticket to Milano Cadorna at the price of 9.00 euros. Daily a train leaves the airport each 20 minutes. Piazza Cadorna is served with the Milan Undeground Line 1 (“red line”) , accessible with an “ATM ordinary ticket” that you can buy for 1.00 euro at the Cadorna Underground stop.

THE ACCOMODATION:
Partecipants who wish to stay in a Hotel and want to book individually, can look http://www.antareshotels.com
The Rubens Hotel, via Rubens 21 – 20148 Milano – phone +39 02 40302 is a nice four stars hotel, and it is quite close to the gym (ten minutes walk straight through via Rubens and then via Novara), and very close to the“De Angeli stop” of Milan Undeground Line 1 (“red line”). I am negotiating special conditions for Wahnam partecipants, but to give you an indicative idea of accomodation rates , there should be two-bed rooms at the price of 160,00 euros (80,00 euros per person, breakfast included) , and three-bed rooms at the price of 140,00 euros (about 47,00 euros per person, breakfast included). I will soon let you know the effective rates at Rubens Hotel or if other low cost accomodation alternatives are available.

For further details please contact me by email or PM.
Looking forward to see you soon,

Riccardo

Ciao Riccardo,

hope you're keeping fine since last time we met in Andorra.

I'm trying to find out on the shaolin website the grades for shaolin student and how a Level 2 can be achieved. Unfortunately i could not find it. Could you let me know where to learn more about the Level range?
I might want to attend to the course though, not quite sure if i will be able to do it so.

Un abrazo,
Alejandro

Level 2 is achieved by attending regular classes with a Shaolin Wahnam Instructor and them promoting you to level 2. Those who do not attend regular classes will have had to have attended an intensive Kung Fu or intensive Taijiquan course with Sifu. I believe attendance of a regional Kung Fu or Taijiquan course is also adequate but maybe Kai could confirm this.

Hi Andrew,

i did attend to a kungfu regional course last summer with Sifu Wong in Andorra.
I'm looking forward to hearing from Kai or from Riccardo about if i'm entittle to attend to since i might need to book the flight to Milan in advance.

Kai, Ricardo if this therad the right place to ask about it? If so, could you let me know if i would be able to do it?

Thanks to all of you.
Best regards,
Alejandro

The Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan Training Program for regular classes is defined by Sifu Wong at the following address : http://shaolin.org/review/taijiquan.html

Those who have not undergone any Tai Chi Chuan course with Sifu Wong may not understand the content, which is not meant to explain the program to the public.

So dear Alejandro, coming to your first question, given that you have attended the Tai Chi Chuan course held by Sifu Wong last summer in Andorra, I'm sure you can understand the targets of level 2 of the Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan Training Program.

Coming to your second question, it is true that having achieved level two doesn't just mean to have understood the objectives and targets of level 2, but it means to actually have gained the skills implied by a regular training at that level of the program. Having personally trained with you and having seen you for some days in Andorra, it is my opinion that you certainly have the experience and the skills implied at level two.
However I do not know if you have been regularly continuing your practice, and if yes , with a certified Wahnam Instructor : please let me know these details.

See you soon (hopefully in Milan), un abrazo
