Hello loved friends I read strange books but many people likes them so I that announcement these books here since maybe there is somebody that it likes to read on the wizards or incredible people or stories! the author is called Carlos Castaneda and its webbpage is

Good I finish east announcement saying that you are welcome with its commentaries and I leave with these words>

What a strange paradox! Every warrior on the path of knowledge thinks, at one time or another, that he's learning sorcery, but all he's doing is allowing himself to be convinced of the power hidden in his being, and that he can reach it.

Don Juan Matus, The Power of Silence

Many people think these books are a hoax.

    I don't.

Read closely, and realize that Castaneda was an idiot. The first few books he focuses on power plants and left out some of the best teachings because he was being foolish and closeminded. He was just too bound by his intellect most of the time, being a college student and everything, but the quotes from Don Juan are inspiring and bone-chilling. Even though Castaneda was an idiot in my opinion, I am very grateful for him for providing a link to such profound teachings.

These books contain many things found in eastern philosophy, but in a whole new light. Definitely worth reading, but please keep an open mind and don't dismiss things just because they sound unbelievable.

        sorcery books !

        Hi!

The Holy Bible said that sorcery is a bad thing! here are some words about it from the Bible of course there are more such kind words about sorcery special in the last book of the Holy Bible!

O Lord, Those who lived long ago in your holy land you hated for their detestable practices, their works of sorcery and unholy rites, their merciless slaughter of children, and their sacrificial feasting on human flesh and blood.

The information is taking from here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0195...orcery%20lands

now I felt that is better not read about this kind of books any way I didn't like them so much, they are so strange, no no nothing for me now!

        Bye!

          Hi Hugo!

Thanks for mentioning these books! I got into Casteneda some years ago. Most of them are really good reads, but personally I think the earlier ones are better as the later ones seem to me to get more and more far fetched. I think Tales of Power was my favourite! (Anyway great title, don't you think?!)

          Hi Toltec,
I was wondering if you were a fellow Castanada fan (as your userID suggests!)
Did you know Castenada practiced kung fu?

                Hi Hugo,

I'd never heard of either of those books! I guess publishing from beyond the grave is a cinch for a sorcerer of his caliber!

                      sorcery books

                      Hello!

for me those guy that use Hoodoo, Voodoo, Santeria, Black Magic, Sorcery etc are very similar even when they have different names!

For me when they work they use Evil Spirits that are around us, when they what to example that a person going to be sick or sometimes even died!

These Bad Spirits are the fallen Angels of Satan, that are mention in the Bible!

Is like these fallen angels are like a spider net they can contact each other when a sorcery man said to his helping Spirit to harm or do something to another person!

You know that when something touch a spider net the spider will know directly, well so it works whit those evil spirits!

Remember this is what I belive ( and it feels ) what do I know, after reading these sorcery books.

My self are not a sorcery man and will never be!

                      Good Bye!

                            sorcery books

Good Day! This is what our Forum Member: Lu-Wan, had said in this forum in Spanish, and that I put here because it could be interesting, I believe! thanks!

With respect to Castaneda and its books, that you are debating: The own instructor of Castaneda, disapproved with certain resignation I finish "witchcraft", as much by the connotations as by the dark of the term.

                            - In the phases of instruction of the supposed "witchcraft" shaman's studies breathing methods

                            - Later, they study the microcosmic orbit (initial step in the Tao), with slight variations of its method

                            - Later, they study Nei Kung (cleaning bony marrow)

                            - They have its own system of movements for the redistribution of its energy, grouped in series, with purposes to my of understanding, totally related to the Tai chi

                            - practices Maintain to control their dreams, like the great teachers (to handle itself in the bard)

                            - Its final mission, is exactly the same one that the one of the Tao of the fusion of the 5 elements. The same one. I DO NOT INVENT ANYTHING TO ME. They have obvious, many differences (thanks to God, but we could not learn nothing of them...) Like full stop, they do not have implications nor anything seemed, and it seems by all the similarities, very logical that it is ended up entering debate books of Castaneda a forum of Shaolin.

                              Hugo

Although much of your meaning is muddled in my eyes, I believe I feel what you are trying to convey.

                              I also draw many parallels.

In fact, in my own experience I believe "A Journey to Ixtlan" By Carlos Castaneda to be an indespensible resource for anyone studying The Shaolin Arts or any other system of self cultivation.

It is a very practical read, devoid of the psycadelic drug label that haunts most of his work in public eyes.

If any of you have a little spare time. This book will not disappoint.

                              Peace
