I apologise that this thread isn't about chi kung..but i think its definately a vital part of the teachings we recieve off our masters, and is a part of my growth.
Thicht nacht hhan, said that people can feel like they have no family..and they need to get in touch with their ancestors to feel like they belong.

My family was evicted from their home and country, poland, when there was revolution in the last war. All i understand about what happened is that it was robbing of the rich to give back to the poor.

If anyone knows what happened and the political and social forces nehind the movement, please please share them with me i really want to know!!!!

    Hi Selva,

Two students from West London, George and Margaret, are both Polish. Orginally from Warsaw before moving here about twenty years ago. I'm not sure that they use the forum but next time I see them I'll try and get them posting on your thread.

Until then....maybe a trip to the local library. Sorry that shows my age, just do an internet search.

    Happy history,

    Simon

You may want to read some of the novels of Henryk Sienkiewicz, especially "With Fire and Sword" and "The Deluge: An Historical Novel of Poland, Sweden, and Russia".

        Good luck.

              Polish history

The Prussians too had those problems when Germany invaded (1914) Prussia and surrounding countries and later on Poland.
