I know a little bit about the Complete Reality School and in my humble opinion they are seperate lineages.

If the story is true I am glad that such a profound school's teachings has managed to survive to this day.

        Dear friend,

This is only an educated guess but as far as I know the common root of all Taoism is probably not Wudang and not Lao Tzu either. Although Lao Tzu coined the word Tao the line of thinking along with the qigong practices can be found in ancient tombs and archaelogical excavations dating back to about 3000 to 2500 BC. I do not believe it is Wudang either since I do not think something like Mo Tzu, The Complete Reality School (全真派),came from Wudang. Once again, I am no expert so please feel free to offer more information on the matter.

        Sincerely,
