This concerns the history of 19th century Phuket. Some of the leaders of the Chinese secret societies here had a mark on the hand. This appeared as five dots on the back of the hand in the circle or 'C' shape made by the thumb and the first finger. I wonder if this has anything to do with the five ancestors or the white lotus sect.
