It is with great joy and happiness that I announce that Sifu Wong Kiew Kit will be returning to Scotland in March 2005.

The following courses will be held in Edinburgh during his visit. Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit will teach all three courses.

Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands (Two day course)
Massaging Internal Organs (One day course)
Generating Internal Force (One day course)

Dates:

Fri 18th March, Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands (part one)
Sat 19th March, Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands (part two)
Sun 20th March, Massaging Internal Organs
Mon 21st March, Generating Internal Force

Times:

Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands (both days), 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm
Massaging Internal Organs, 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm
Generating internal Force, 9am-12pm & 2pm-5pm

Costs per day:

One day - £199 (not available for Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands)
Two days - £299
Three days - £399
Four days - £449

Please note that in order to attend either Massaging Internal Organs or Generating Internal Force, course participants would be required to have either already attended a previous Generating Energy Flow course or studied Chi Kung under one of Shaolin Wahnam's certified instructors.
The Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands course will cover Generating Energy Flow as well, allowing new students to attend the later courses.

This thread will be updated once the full details are known, or email Scotland@ShaolinWahnam.co.uk to have the details sent to you.

Following on from the Eighteen Lohan Hands course, a 24 week course will be held afterwards covering the Eighteen patterns and allowing course participants to continue their practice under observation from a Regional Instructor. This course will also be open to the general public. For further information on this course, email Scotland@ShaolinWahnam.co.uk.

If anyone has not received a reply from me in regards to a recent email, please resend the email. I was having minor PC trouble, but was not aware of missing any emails.

The delay in posting the venue information is due to a last minute cancellation from the intial venue, which was due to their restoratioin works now carrying on into April.

There are now two venue's for the forthcoming courses in Edinburgh. Their websites (with directions and further information on locations) are;

Accommodation

The nearest hotel is the Best Western Bruntsfield Hotel (http://www.thebruntsfield.co.uk), but accommodation in Bruntsfield, Polworth, Morningside, Tollcross, the City Centre or Newington would be close enough.

There are many places to eat nearby for both lunch and dinner.

Darryl, I've just noticed that the course is now 3 days instead of 4. When you say that the course costs are the same as the original post, does this mean that the cost of all 3 courses is £399 (3 days) or the original £449 that the 3 courses would have cost ?

Nicely spotted Andy

In the following price structure, the Shaolin Eighteen Lohan Hands course counts as two courses, while Massaging Internal Organs and Generating Internal Force each count as only one course.

One course £199
Two courses £299
Three courses £399
Four courses £449

Hey everyone,

The first time I came up to Edinburgh I stayed at this bed & breakfast :

Smiths Guest House
http://www.smithsgh.com/
Tel: 0131 667 2524

I do recommend them, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is great and the owners are freindly. Bruntsfield Primary School isn't too far away from this B&B, a short taxi ride got me there quite easily.

Hope this helps.
