  • Maitreya Buddha's Age of Laughter

The by far most inspiring sentence in Sitaigung's book 'Sukhavati' was/is that Maitreya Buddha's age is the age of laughter. It's indeed one of the most inspiring sentences I've ever read.

So, I reckon that all that's needed is laughter.

Everybody can already laugh, so what's then the problem with it?

Maybe it's just that we can but don't do it often enough for being called an age of laughter?

It may be that all our 'role-models' from parents to teachers we've had in school or elsewhere to relatives to friends or who ever else served as a role-model fail here more or less and weve got to develop it or do it ourselves. Why wait?

Some questions that came up for me are:

    Does our sense of...

Chi Gung...exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
Kung Fu...exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Zen......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Meditation......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Spirituality......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Familiarity......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Friendship......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Reverence......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Respect......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Business......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Work-ethic...exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Humour...exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Compassion......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Honour...exclude, judge or restrict laughter?
    Virtuosity......exclude, judge or restrict laughter?

    Could be continued....

...and if so, propably it's best to just laugh about it.

If you did not like this post, please just laugh about it...
If you did like this post, please don't forget to laugh about it...

    Thank you,
