  • Zhan Zhuang Beginner Routine

    Hi,

    I am new to Chi Kung and interested in learning this art.

    The only book I have read on the topic is The Way of Energy by Master Lam Kam.

    I have started practicing first standing position for 5 minutes daily.

    I want to when i shall start with second standing position. And later on, do what is the routine to have these two positions in practice.

    Dear Irfan,

    Chi kung is a wonderful art, that will give you many benefits.

    But the best choice for you would be to find a good chi kung instructor or master, from who you can learn.
    Learning from books alone is difficult, and it is easy to make mistakes. Should you experience some trouble with your practice, the master can then help you correct your practice.

    The best possible course you can apply to is the Intensive Chi Kung course (you can find it at www.shaolin.org).
    Or find an chi kung instructor nearby you, and attend his/her weekly chi kung classes.
