Thanks to Karol (mr_couchalot) we now have PDFs for "Choi Li Fatt", "Kungfu Against Other Styles" and "Secrets of Building Internal Force". Links have been added to the title post.

    Hey Karol,

Again, I'm really looking forward to your layout, it sounds like you really put some effort into it ! I was thinking of adding relevant pictures to the translated Q&A's as well (if I can find them in high quality, that is), so I'm sure your help will save quite a bit of time in the future! And I really agree with your Sifu about the importance of these pdf's.

I'm gonna stop spamming this thread now and start translating !
Keep having fun with compiling the Q&A's!

All the pdf documents are so nicely edited, I have just simply completed Sigungs answers and copied the layout, which I think is very good.

My work is nothing consider how much time Sigung uses to write them down. I just hope it will be easier for others to read them in a nice looking form. My Sifu said that Q & A series will be the classics for the new generations. I hope in that way it will be easier to spread our Grandmaster teaching.

My name is Karol, and it is really nice to meet You. I hope You like my work. If there is something I should change, please let me know.

    My plan is:

    - complete all the answers in pdf format
    - add the pictures to make it even more awesome

edit - The legacy of Bodhidharma almost done...

    Dear mr_couchalot,

STOP IIIT, there's enough to translate as it is !! No seriously, thank you. It'll be cool to see what you did with the layout!

Btw: Not quite sure what you need help with, actually...? I for my part intend to simply translate the questions and use those in the table of contents, indicating the pages where the questions can be found. I'm sure you could do the same! Concerning keywords: You can look for specific words via ctrl+F in the document itself, so I'm pretty sure Keywords in the table of contents aren't really necessary. Yay for the joys of technology! It goes so far that when I read Sukhavati, I actually wanted to use the search function right up until my brain finally caught up !

And I think you can send the pdf's to George Sisook, so that he can maybe update his post at the beginning of the thread?

P.S.: Can we know your real name? Your nickname is awesome, but I personally prefer adressing people with their name. Only if you want to, of course!

    Shaolin greeting,
    Fabienne

Kung Fu Against Other Styles done, Choy-Li-Fatt coming soon.

I really enjoy this work, but think it will be more fun to put there some pictures of our Grandmaster.

With the new energy level I have got from the Summer Camp it is almost impossible for me to get tired. I was thinking to go through all the topics starting from the bottom of the list. So if anyone of You like to take care of some of the topics, please let me know, or else I will take from You all the joy connected to this work.

I do still need help with table of contents and keywords.

Now it is time for my Golden Bridge, see you soon

Dear George, and all involved; Steffen, CSwacha, Anton S & Fräänz, thanks a million for all these.
And Sigung of course for being so incredibly generous.

Looks like I will need to do longer train journeys and buy a kindle.

    Thanks all
    James

I'm sure you could do a great job, Fabienne!

That would be great, Davy! Translating the Q&As is sometimes like translating a small book. The Stages of Cleansing, Building and Nourishing thread alone is about 60 pages of answers¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!¡!

    Excellent idea Andrew R,

I am finishing this month my formation as a teacher, so maybe I will have the time to translate some of the Q&A into Spanish. :-)

    Hugs

    Hi Andrew,

    What a great suggestion!

I'm seriously tempted to translate the Q&A's into German, but I'm afraid there's people out there who are much more competent in Kung Fu, Qigong and terminology and whatnot. I bring some translation experience and editorial skills to the table already, so maybe I could translate them and let them be proof-read for content by Sifu, Andrea Sije, Andrew Sipak, Leo Sisook and others .

But I think I'd bite off WAY more than I could chew, so I'm going to wait if there's someone else who would take over the German translations. If there's nobody else that's more qualified and has the time, I would absolutely LOVE to do it! It would give me an excuse to read ALL of the Q&A's in the first place. So now I'm just waiting for the green light from my seniors.

    Happy lunchtime!
    Fabienne

This may surprise you but there are some students of our school who believe they don’t have time to look at the forum, that it is a distraction in their busy schedule. This is a great pity as they are missing so many gems. They are doing themselves and the art a great disservice by not participating in the forum. Or at least reading the posts.

Some of the information in these Q&A’s are great secrets and insights into the arts. information that people would have killed for in the past. Yet now it appears to be given out freely with our Grandmasters generosity. I guess like in the past it actually only reaches and is realised by deserving students!
Translating these Q&As into other languages is also a great way to make the information accessible to more students, and is also an excellent endeavor for Scholar-Warriors. Eh? Eh? Any takers?
