  • Tai Chi: What's the difference between these three?

Hi, can someone tell me please the difference between the Yang long form, the Yang short form, and the Yang-Chen-Fu form.

They may all be the same thing for all I know.
    Thanks

There's a few styles within the Yang family. The "Official" Yang form that is currently taught by the Yang family is the Yang 108 long form.
Here is the family website: http://www.yangfamilytaichi.com/splash.php
This form supposed to be the one created by Yang Cheng Fu.

The predominant short form is 24 patterns and derived from the Yang 108 form. I'm not sure who came up with it.

There are some more obscure Yang family forms as well, and you might try wikipedia for those.
