Dear Shaolin Wahnam Family,
Since some years ago, I like to write from the heart. It is a very interesting process. I usually ask my heart a question and then I write down the answer.
Often, the answers are surprising and they are written in a way that I usually do not write.
I usually write in Spanish as it feels more flowing and natural to me. This answer that I share with you was written in Spanish and later translated into English.
QUESTION I ASKED MY HEART:
My dear heart, How Should I forgive?
ANSWER THAT I RECEIVED:
Forgive as if there is no tomorrow.
Forgive as if everything you were to live depended on that forgiveness.
Forgive as if you would want to be forgiven.
Forgive as if the person you forgive is the person you love most in the whole world.
Forgive as if forgiving were the most beautiful act of existence.
Forgive as a mother forgives a child.
Forgive with that unconditional love that mothers know so well.
Forgive as if forgiveness opens the door to the best place you have ever been.
Forgive as if the life on the other side of forgiveness is everything you have ever wanted.
Forgive as if there had never been pain in your soul.
Forgive with the greatest love you have ever felt.
Forgive with the most intense and infinite light that has ever shone.
Forgive until there is nothing left to forgive.
Forgive yourself with all that love so infinite and boundless that it will never be extinguished.
Forgive yourself as if you had never erred.
Forgive yourself so that a new day will begin and you will feel the most extraordinary dawn.
Forgive and forgive and when there is nothing left to forgive, it is then when you can feel all that life and freedom that unconditional forgiveness produces.
Forgive as nature forgives the wind when it breaks a tree.
Forgive as nature forgives a river when it floods a valley.
Forgive as nature forgives lightning when it hits a tree.
Forgive as nature forgives the moon when it leaves the night in darkness.
Forgive as the birds forgive a hard and cold night.
Forgive as the flowers forgive when they give their scent in the spring after the hard and long winter.
Forgive and forgive and never tire of forgiving for it is that forgiveness that frees the soul from the great weight it carries on its shoulders day and night.
Forgive and free your soul from that weight in order to make the journey lighter.
Forgive to be able to float among the clouds and fly through the limitless sky.
Forgive as if you love yourself with an unconditional and eternal love.
Forgive as if behind that forgiveness was the most infinite peace you have ever known and dreamed of.
With Love, Care and Shaolin Salute,
Santi
