A friend helped, induce a state, to produce a story full of sight, sound and experience, signifying nothing 
.
"Once upon a time, in a land far away, in a time before the people forgot that magic exists, a voice was heard telling that all is dangerous ... and the most dangerous ... was to not believe in that ... and to never be able to consciously hear that voice. [Oh dear].
That what was needed was to to 'inhibit, shutdown and retreat' as a response and if that didn't happen every individual would be lonely [oh, dear].
That, at a pinch, it was ok to help but not be 'fully joined up and connected to source'. Actually, the "connected" was the final sting in the tail. What they really meant was "tuned in". That to risk this was the most dangerous of all. In fact, all humans that have ever tried, attempted (or achieved) that came to and experienced everything that could possibly be the most painful. [oh dear, oh dear]
And that, one day, a person would be so unable to deal with their 'squawling' that it would be important never to wake up and that if they did everything would be too difficult [my dearie]"
Laughable really. For those us stuck with or in feelings ... in the words of Mr Bowie ... "I will sit right down, waiting for the gift of sound and vision ... dum de dum ... dum de dum ... etc etc ..."
