Book 2 of The Tai Ping Chronicles (Book 3 forthcoming in July 2026):

"The greatest battles are fought within.

Three months after the Long Dawn began, humanity stands at a crossroads.

Across the vast rainforest megacity of Aki Nabalu and beyond, millions are awakening from the invisible Psychic Rain—a hidden force that has manipulated human thoughts, emotions, and desires for thousands of years. Brief moments of compassion, forgiveness, humility, and self-awareness are spreading across the world.

For the first time in history, hope has returned.

But hope has attracted a new enemy.

As Ginawo searches for the six remaining Threshold Humans destined to fulfill the ancient Law of the Seventh Threshold, a charismatic visionary named Rogon rises to global prominence. Promising immediate freedom from suffering and conflict, Rogon gathers millions of devoted followers who believe he is humanity's long-awaited savior.

Yet beneath his movement lies a darker truth.

Hidden within the Mind Dimension, the Seven Evils are preparing their most dangerous counterattack. Desire. Anger. Greed. Attachment. Pride. Jealousy. Ego.

And behind them all waits Aego—the ancient force that feeds upon identity itself.

As reality fractures and dream worlds begin bleeding into waking life, Ginawo and the Threshold Humans must confront not only the Seven Evils but also the hidden weaknesses within themselves. The fate of humanity will be decided not on a battlefield of armies, but within the landscape of consciousness itself.

The Seven Thresholds is the second novel in The Tai Ping Chronicles, an epic science-fantasy saga exploring awakening, identity, freedom, and humanity's search for Eternal Peace.

    Perfect for readers who enjoy:

    • Philosophical science fantasy
    • Spiritual and metaphysical fiction
    • Dystopian futures with deeper meaning
    • Epic battles of consciousness and identity"

Sharing news about my recently published novel:

The Rain of the Seven Evils

"The rain falls on everyone. Not everyone wakes.

In the rainforest megacity of Aki Nabalu, humanity has solved nearly every problem except the emptiness growing within itself.

Ginawo is an ordinary teenager haunted by a persistent feeling that something is wrong with the world. Beneath the endless rain, behind seamless networks and effortless comforts, he senses an invisible fracture in reality.

When a mysterious mentor reveals the existence of the Mind Dimension, Ginawo discovers that humanity has unknowingly lived for centuries under the influence of ancient psychic forces known as the Seven Evils.

As hidden truths emerge and the boundaries between mind and reality begin to dissolve, Ginawo must choose whether to remain asleep like the rest of humanity or step onto a path that may transform the future of the human race.

Set in a visionary future inspired by the landscapes and cultures of Borneo, The Rain of the Seven Evils blends science fiction, mythology, psychology, and spiritual mystery into an epic tale of inner and outer awakening.

    Perfect for readers who enjoy:

    • Metaphysical and philosophical science fiction
    • Coming-of-age cosmic adventures

The Rain of the Seven Evils is the first novel in The Tai Ping Chronicles, an ambitious trilogy exploring the battle between consciousness and corruption, illusion and awakening, destiny and free will."

BOOK 3 of my trilogy The Lotus Gate Chronicles is live on Amazon

Centuries after The Eleven Realms Tournament, the world has forgotten how to listen.
The Logic Dominion rules with silence—its machines hum in place of prayer, its towers erase memory itself. Yet beneath the iron cities, whispers remain. A secret order of Reciters guards the last vibration of the Lotus Gate.

When sixteen-year-old Satonam, a factory orphan, hums a forbidden note that bends metal and time, he becomes the final vessel of the True Name: Joyt Om Ra Soh Sat.
Each syllable rekindles a realm of light and sound long buried.

As the Dominion’s empire collapses in its own echo, Satonam must decide whether to dissolve into the Song that ends all suffering—or return to the world that still needs to remember.
His teacher Liorae, the redeemed Arch-Silencer Saelun, and voices from the past converge in a final act of cosmic remembrance where rebellion becomes harmony, and salvation is not escape but awakening.

Book 3 concludes The Lotus Gate Chronicles—a visionary, metaphysical trilogy blending mystic science-fantasy, philosophical fable, and spiritual adventure.
The silence of centuries breaks… and the world sings itself home.

A legendary trilogy in the making!

The world can definitely use more great stories right now. Most of the TV series and movies I watch are 10 or more years old, the newer stuff is usually depressing, violent, or replaces interesting stories with flashy CGI. I did really like the recent American Born Chinese series along similar lines to your books. It was cool to see characters like Guan Yin and the Monkey God in a mainstream series.

Hopefully you'll consider an audio book version of your books at some point. I mostly listen to books. It opens up some additional distribution channels, and I also feel like it's easier to sell someone on an audio book. If the synopsis sounds good, I usually decide on a book based on the 5 min audio preview. You could also distribute sample chapters and clips on channels like YouTube and TikTok.

I don't know all that much about the publishing world, but you can also check out sites outside Amazon like Bookshop.org and Libro.fm for more equitable distribution. I've read Amazon doesn't leave much profit for authors, and these newer platforms are more geared toward supporting authors and local book stores.

Sir ryanberg, thanks for your positive feedback on Book 1 of my Trilogy: Books 2 & 3 are ready and will go live on Amazon in a forthnight. I have some formal marketing plans, after which i will approach movie (eg Warner Brothers) and TV producers (eg Netflix) with a business proposal ala the hugely popular Harry Potter Series.

Inspired by Sifu's epic work "Sukhavati", here is an overview of my Trilogy narrative (and business plans):

    Overview

Genre: Visionary & Metaphysical Fantasy / Spiritual Adventure / YA Epic

Format: Trilogy (feature films or limited-series franchise)

Logline: In a world where words create reality, three souls—each reborn in different ages—must

master the forgotten art of vow-speech to reopen the Lotus Gate, a living portal that decides who

    transcends and who dissolves.

Themes: memory vs identity, compassion as power, sound as creation.

Visual tone: Harry Potter meets Avatar: The Last Airbender filtered through Eastern mysticism and

    His Dark Materials philosophy.

Audience: global YA-adult crossover seeking mythic worldbuilding with spiritual resonance.

Comparable properties: Doctor Strange, The Golden Compass, Everything Everywhere All at

    Once.

    Cinematic Synopses

Book 1 – The Lotus Gate: Trials of the Veil: A lonely girl in a mist-bound town discovers a

medallion that opens a realm made of sound and light. When she crosses into Elarion, she learns

vows can shape reality—and that she herself is a fragment of a vow that once broke the universe.

Her compassion, not her power, will decide whether worlds heal or collapse.

Book 2 – The Lotus Gate: The Eleven Realms Tournament: In a cosmic contest linking eleven

dimensions, a young prodigy named Jingzuo must battle illusion and ideology to reclaim

humanity’s right to remember its divine origin. What begins as spectacle becomes revelation: the

tournament is not about winning but remembering the sound that binds creation.

Book 3 – The Lotus Gate: The Reciters of the Pure Land: Centuries later, amid a silenced

dystopia, Satonam awakens the final chant that reconnects life and afterlife. As faith and physics

collapse, he must choose between saving the species or releasing all beings into enlightenment.

    Book Description

"For over fifteen centuries, The Thirty-Six Strategies have been whispered through China’s palaces, battlefields, and marketplaces. They are not rigid plans, but ji — clever maneuvers, poetic tricks, living wisdom for seizing opportunity and overcoming adversity.
Now, for the first time, this classic of strategy is reimagined for modern readers seeking clarity in business, relationships, creativity, and life.
In this groundbreaking book, Dr. Ginawo bridges East and West, past and present. Part I presents the original Thirty-Six Strategies, explained with vivid historical stories, modern business case studies, and practical applications. Part II, Dialogues, draws from rare, question-and-answer sessions between a kungfu grandmaster (the author’s teacher) and his students — adapted into powerful conversations filled with wit, insight, and life lessons.
    Here you will discover:
    • How to turn apparent defeat into strategic advantage.
    • How to apply “Borrow a Body to Reincarnate” for innovation in business and teaching.
    • Why “Escape is Superior” is not cowardice but wisdom.
    • How ancient strategies can lead to win-win outcomes in conflict.
    • Why even compassion and art can benefit from cunning.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, leader, artist, or seeker, The 36 Strategies offers timeless tools to act with clarity, creativity, and courage in a complex world.
This is not a manual of trickery. It is a lantern in the fog — showing how wisdom, tact, and vision can turn life’s battles into opportunities for success."
