Dear Sifu and Shaolin family,

Time and time again I Am reminded of the Buddha's teachings and the rare treasures we have been transmitted from our dear Sifu, a True Zen Master! Thank you for the jade which can be so hard to 'see' amongst all the 'dirt'.

They say there's no lotus without mud well it's in 'suffering' and challenges do we get the opportunity to polish and shine like a diamond so others may also benefit from the rare transmissions too.

I journeyed to the West, I journeyed to the East, searching longing through the barren desert searching for something or someone that my soul longed for. I climbed the highest snow peaks with pristine lakes to only find myself staring at 'the self' alone and not long ago had I looked from below gazing at a rainbow and seeing that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva manifested its many forms.

OM MA NI PAD ME HUM !

A white mist mountain revealed itself to go back down and continue the path. So here I AM once again in the city. Nowhere to be nowhere to go but here; when we feel like we have gone back down the mountain again can be a "great stroke of luck!"

I returned home physically into my old box room with all the 'noise, arrows and storms'. Multi-opponents weapon training has certainly taken on a new form but isn't this what we've trained for all along?! Be here Now! 'I' sits listens and beeeees...by using modern technology of course!...the very nature of 'Mind' is being taught.

When there's no master to hold your hand you become your own and with this you find treasures that only the external can point to; as the moon has always been shining!

I am guided back to studying the Heart Sutra and Diamond Sutra( the Prajna Paramita Perfection Wisdom Sutras) and as they had appeared out of nowhere many years ago they reappeared once again. 'I AM Home-less I cried!' May you find the Way!

My wish for sharing this post is to thank the act of forgiveness and gratitude to Sifu, the past masters, Buddhas Bodhisattvas brothers and sisters and past family generations for the accumulated karma now being settled in this time and space. May it also be a beacon of hope so that we can all collaborate. May we shine our light for each other or for others whom feel like times are dark or feel like they've fallen as we all do, as the journey is One. We are all One Brilliant Light Mind!

Thank you for the compassion of prayers and blessings. Thank you for the compassion for all souls of light that enable me to 'be here' at this moment to study the Buddha's teachings. Thank you Sifu may your teachings carry on as a legacy throughout hearts.

May we all unite together online or in some dimension and shine our Bodhisattva hearts together may it be very soon like 2025.. anyone up for a big party? celebration ignite our chi flow so we can change the tide of times!!!

May we "empty our cup" and "begin again"!

Zen beyond binaries

"Coal and Diamonds

A finer point that is seldom understood is that to behold the moon of truth directly, all thoughts must cease. The type of thought does not matter.

The old stone pond is completely motionless and the full moon is shining round and bright on its surface. If you drop a lump of coal or a diamond onto its quiet surface, the result is the same: the moon-light disappears.

Lumps of coal are worldly thoughts. Diamonds are spiritual thoughts. To see the light of truth directly, all thought must be suspended. The mind must be absolutely motionless.

True spirituality is not the substitution of spiritual thoughts for worldly thoughts, but the cessation of thought itself.

Positive, wholesome and spiritual thoughts definitely create a conducive atmosphere for meditation, but they must not be taken into meditation. The object of meditation is direct seeing, not thinking about seeing. In this regard the arguments of both the Atheist (coal) and the Theist (diamonds) have the same result: they disturb the essential stillness required for direct seeing. It is an argument that can never be settled because the conditions of engagement are fundamentally flawed. Those who have seen the soul know, and so do not argue.

The above analogies are complete and need to be experienced first hand. No more need be said."
