    In TCM paradigm : disease is caused by Yin-Yang disharmony and various treatment modalities ( herbs , acupuncture , massage , etc ) aim to restore harmony

    In Chi Kung paradigm : disease is caused by Chi Flow disharmony ( eg deficient energy , excess energy or imbalanced energy , etc ) and self help ( practice chi kung ) and/or other's help ( from chi kung healer ) aim to restore harmonious chi flow .

    In QEA system ( using the old QEA logo as graphic representation )
    •Using light as a representative for all energy and information
    •A disturbance causes distortion of harmony to create disharmony
    •QEA aims to remove the distortion and recreate harmony.

    To quote Sifu Andrew :

    " The original QEA logo was designed as a representation of the function of the system . Roughly, it showed white light (harmony) hitting a prism (disturbance - whether, accident or illness, physical, mental, emotional or energetic) and splitting into a rainbow of colours (broken harmony). This then hits a second prism (the balancing, realigning and healing of QEA), which generates white light again (restored harmony).

    Although the idea of the logo worked, its design was somewhat lacking. So it was time to create a new, more appropriate logo. And this is what we came up with.

    The human is the central element surrounded by the waves of energy and information that make it what it is. This all enclosed in a circle of perfect form. The model is focussed on a human, but can be extended to represent the entire cosmos "

    See the Old and New Logos below :

      A question for Sifu Andrew : Can a person ( with an open mind and all other things being equal ) without any background of internal art , significantly benefit ( for self help ) from participating in the upcoming 1 day introductory QEA course in Penang ?

        Simple answer: Yes and no

        Maybe a bit more information about this will help to understand the simplified answer.
        - Internal Arts (of a "reasonable" level will help develop and maintain a strong mind and energy flow. These are definitely advantageous, but not a necessity, for QEA practitioners. In the course I will teach a method to attain the correct state of mind for ideal results, which is attainable more or less regardless of background -- as long as an open mind is present.
        - QEA is less a self-help system and more a "help others" system. The reasoning behind this will be discovered during the course. The methods can be very useful for self-help, but need a lot of practice to achieve this in most cases.

          Excerpt from Grandmaster's Article article at https://shaolin.org/general/buddhism01.html

          "The World is an Illusion

          Max Plank startled scientific circles when he announced that energy is emitted not continuously but in chunks which he called quanta, leading to the birth of quantum physics, considered by many scientists as the great scientific achievement of the present twentieth century. De Broglie completed the shock when he proposed that not only are waves particles, but particles are also waves. For example, if an observer sets up his apparatus to measure an electron as wave, that electron will appear as wave; if he sets up his apparatus to measure it as a particle, it will appear as a particle! In other words, whether a sub-atomic event occurs as energy or matter, depends on how the observer observes it.

          This concept has been taught in Buddhism more than 25 centuries ago, and the Buddha's teaching is even more profound, as it deals not only with the sub-atomic level, but also with the macro-level, not only with the world of man, but also includes the whole universe. The Buddha has long taught that the human world, as well as heaven and hell, are a creation of mind. "

          Excerpt from Sifu Andrew's QEA website :
          "Only your mind limit what can be achieved!

          QEA is a healing and transformation system , which includes macro, micro and quantum techniques for improving alignment of the energy and information complex that controls all matter.

          It has so far been successfully used to help many conditions including back ache, migraine, headache, tinnitus, loss of hearing, eye issues, neck pains, tension, psoriasis, neurodermitis, scoliosis, blood pressure, depression, burn out, rheumatism, insomnia, diabetes, joint mobility and pains, sciatica, knee problems, shoulder issues, stomach problems, digestion issues, stress, psychological issues, dizzy spells, circulation problems, radiation disturbances, arthritis, fertility problems, menstrual issues ..........

          And the list is getting longer almost daily."

            Thanks Dr Damien for bringing this to light, may I ask regarding this part;

            “Without going into too much science, quantum physics has demonstrated the so-called ‘observer effect’. This basically means that the act of observing something can/does change the observed in some way. One of the most famous examples of this is the so-called “double-slit” experiment whereby an electrons behavior could be demonstrated to be that of a wave or of a particle purely depending on how it was observed”

            In this instant, could then it be said that if one can observe the spirit one can get to the root cause of an issue, and then would this also apply to the to the dharma, atma, etc and depend on the observers level of observation to be able to stimulate those changes?

            Secondly if one is a practitioner of any kind and has this level of skill (QEA) in their repertory could it then be said that the practitioner can reflect back the observation to the client with a crude, grounded or even in a profound way to make a causative effect?

            And in the following instant;

            “Through my experimentation, I have been able to locate this Zero Point. It is, in fact, not just a point but a multi-dimensional field. Correctly, then, it should probably be called the Zero Point Field. By accessing this Zero Point Field and applying very little direction to it, a massive momentum can be generated. This momentum can cause massive and profound change in an instant."

            Interestingly, the Zero Point Field doesn’t’ really like having momentum. It seems to like being infinitely powerful, but is too lazy to work. So, given the opportunity, it likes to return to the Zero state (where it was before we pushed it) as quickly as possible. This way, the changes created by the momentum generated tend to remain stable.”

            Would this be related to the minds habitual patterns, whereby the client or persons mind state is potentially bound in a loop and finds the changes too dramatic in some cases, so hence flips back to old patterns?

                  Interestingly, although your question is based on an inaccurate assumption according to QEA theory, the issue you refer to is indeed real. The mind needs to accept the changes for them to remain permanent. Often, though, it is less related to how dramatic, but far more to a different issue -- one Sifu has often referred to in his teachings (which I have been able to confirm independently)........

                    Dear Dr Damian and Siheng Andrew, thanks both for post comments. I now realise as Andrew said about the inaccurate assumption, I also didn't read the previous link for; BUDDHISM AND SCIENCE PART 1 -- PHYSICAL SCIENCES

                    Quite useful too!

                          Hi Sihing Andrew, after a brief chat in Malaysia on concepts of QEA, I understand there is potential to learn levels 1, 2 and 3 in 2019.
                          Can I please ask if the course is to go ahead;

                          What would Level 1 include on the course and how would a participant apply the new found skills of this level after the course? Same again applies to levels 2 and 3?

                          All the best

                            Hi James,

                            The discussion about a 5-day intensive QEA course has only just started. If there is enough interest, I could consider planning this.

                            The course content would be Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. As the course documentation for level 1 alone covers almost 100 presentation pages, it is probably not wise to put much detail here at this time. Level 1 is the "Fundamentals" course, which you will find on www.qea.ch The other courses build on that and add new skills, methods and techniques. Each and every method, skill and technique taught can be used directly after the course. How each person chooses to use them is their decision

                                Thank you, Andrew Siheng, for teaching this very practical introductory course.

                                Where the Zero Point Field is, how to find it, how to access it and how to provide this directional movement to utilise it, however, are things that will be dealt with in some detail in my new book and in greater detail during the training sessions being planned.
                                This statement was definitely delivered on during the introductory course. It is a very simple and useful skill.

                                I'm looking forward to a 5-day course for sure! If you would like to hold a course in Taiwan, please let me know, Andrew Sihing. It would be fun!

The expressions "the cause is unknown" and "there is no cure" are applicable only in the Western medical paradigm. The expressions no longer hold true in the chi kung paradigm. In the chi kung paradigm the cause is known, and there is a cure."
