  • [Fully Alive] The chance to learn/polish the foundations of Tai Chi - Limited places

We are running three separate days of training in London on the fundamental skills and principles of Tai Chi Chuan.
    1. Sunday 12th April
    2. Sunday 17th May
    3. Sunday 14th June

Each day will be from 9.30am - 12.30pm & 1.30pm - 4.30pm. The training fee for each day is £120.

Why might you be interested in or benefit from these days?

    1. These classes have been inspired by being asked to help people prepare for Legacy of Zhang San Feng course being taught by Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit in June. So, if you plan to attend or have already booked on this course these days will prepare you to get the most out Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit's teaching.

    2. You might already practice Tai Chi. These days will be focusing on the often misunderstood or overlooked fundamental skills and principles taught by Zhang San Feng, the originator of Tai Chi. Anyone who wants the full health, energy and mind/spirit benefits from their practice must be practising beyond the level of merely sets/forms. These days are a chance to make sure you are getting the full benefits out of your practice.

    3. You might practice Chi Kung or meditation and be unsure about whether Tai Chi can give you anything more beyond your existing practice. The good news is Tai Chi is Chi Kung and mind training. These days are a chance to experience the power of Tai Chi as an energy and mind training art.

    4. You might be interested in Tai Chi but been put off it for one of two reasons. a) it seems a bit weak or a waste of time the way it is often taught in community centres b) that it is originally a martial art and you don't want to practice fighting or conflict. These days are a chance to practice Tai Chi as it was originally intended- a) truly powerful in terms of health and increased vitality & b) the martial aspects are not about learning how to fight but learning about yourself and how to usefully engage your body and mind in everyday life.

Do you have to book all three courses?

The first day will be a complete course in itself. At the end of it you will have a practise you can take away even if you don't do the other two. The second and third days will be building progressively on the principles and skills taught in the first. Together they will prepare you for the Legacy of Zhang San Feng course and/or be a fast-track to understanding the fundamental skills of this powerful body/energy/mind/spiritual art.

Why are we teaching these days?

    1. We want people to get the most out of coming to Summer Camp and the Legacy of Zhang San Feng course.

    2. Our reason for starting Fully Alive was to help make the world a healthier, happier and safer place. Tai Chi is an excellent art to achieve this and we want to help in making sure people get the real and full benefits possible.

How do you book your place?

Email with the day(s) you want to attend. Places are limited due to size of the training halls. They will be allocated on a first-come/first-served basis.

Looking forward to introducing you to the wonderful world of Zhang San Feng ,
