Scottish Shaolin Wahnam Students - Please read
This is a message for those Shaolin Wahnam Students who have been learning from / training with Sifu Jamie Robson and / or Sifu Jonny Say.
Dear Shaolin Wahnam Student,
Jamie Robson and Jonny Say have both resigned from Shaolin Wahnam with immediate effect. With their resignation, they distance themselves from our school and our Grandmaster. According to Jamie, all of the current Shaolin Wahnam Students who have been taught by either Jamie or Jonny have also been informed personally.
You are now faced with a decision, forced upon you by Jamie and Jonny.
The decision to be made by you is:
- Do you also wish to resign from Shaolin Wahnam and, in doing so, distance yourself from Shaolin Wahnam and its Grandmaster?
It is important to understand that:
1. By resigning, you would no longer be able to attend any future classes or courses with Shaolin Wahnam worldwide including such special events as the "Warrior Project".
2. Such a decision and the resulting exclusion from future events, classes and courses, is a final and binding decision.
3. You will not have an opportunity to reverse this decision in future unless explicitly allowed by our Grandmaster
Whatever you decide, please send me your decision (by email or PM) by 3rd March 2010. If you resign, your user title in the forum will be reverted to "Registered User".
If you do not resign, you may continue to learn within Shaolin Wahnam from your Sisookgung Mark Appleford. He can be contacted at mark@zentreasures.com or 07875 074 646 for details.
Continuing to learn from Jamie or Jonny whilst remaining a Student of Shaolin Wahnam is possible. This is in line with our policy of allowing Students to study with other schools or styles. However, this may be difficult in this case considering that Jamie and Jonny have explicitly chosen to distance themselves from Shaolin Wahnam and our Grandmaster. You would likely, at some point, be faced with a conflict of interest or loyalty.
If I do not hear from you by 3rd March 2010, we will assume you wish to remain a Shaolin Wahnam Student.
