For students who have taken a Wahnam Taijiquan course with Sifu, there is to be 1 day reveiw course on the 11th of June in London. the training will include stance training, fundamental footwork, pushing hands and some striking hands if we have time. Please contact me or Barry for information.
I shamelessly intend to keep this thread in people's minds - us students of Shaolin Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan are few and far between so we need to stick together for support and to help make sure Sifu wants to keep teaching this art.
That is wonderful news Robin. I will certainly send some of the Irish group over for that. Thank you.
Barry, I couldn't agree with you more with regards to sticking together on this. Sifu is so skilled and generous with his teaching, it will be a shame if we all cannot help in preserving this wonderful art.

Great to see that people are interested. Looking forward to seeing you there . "Where" is the question I see arising. As soon as the venue is finalised we will post something on this thread.
If those areas are suitable for Robin, I will enquire about availability for both.
There is a smaller hall in the same building in Kentish town, which has been idle since I started there in the mornings.
But if the weather is fine, an outdoor practice would probably be even nicer

It is excellent to see such interest for what will be a great day of Taijiquan. This will also be a superb opportunity to meet Wahnam Taijiquan brothers and sisters .
For people who register for the reveiw course before the 4th of June the cost for the full day of training will be £35. After that, or on the day will be £40.
To register ,you can email me via the forum or at robgamble99@hotmail.com,
or call me on 07788 643614.
The venue is still being arranged and will be posted soon!
I am very pleased to announce that the Wahnam Taijiquan review course on June the 11th will be held in Walpole park in Ealing, North London (very near to where Sifu Joan holds her classes) .
I would advise that participants bring rain coats just in case, as there is a back up venue for the afternoon session but not for the morning . We all know what English weather can be like and I dont like to take chances!
Training times will be 9.30-12.30 for the morning session and 2-5 for the afternoon session.
There will also be a dinner arranged for 6 O'clock, where we can meet Sifu Joan and her students, eat, talk and generally have merriment .
If there are any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
Thank you Sigung Robin for a wonderful day. You booked the weather and found a beautiful tree in the park.
The sparing was conducted in a safe controlled environment, so nobody got hurt (as it should be) and was very practicable and fun to participate in. It was good to train again with our Irish brothers and sisters and hopefully we can all meet up again soon.
I second that. Great teaching, great weather, great people, great venue, great sparring, great food. I always enjoy these Wahnam get -togethers. I realise what I have learnt and also increasingly how little I know.
