  • A Yakut Prayer

I came across this poem a while ago then read it again today it seems to have developed a new "resonance" so I thought I'd share with anyone interested. The name of the author is lost in time but their words convey a meaning which is far from being lost.

    Yakut Prayer

My words are tied in one
    With the great mountains,
    With the great rocks,
    With the great trees,
    In one with my body
    And my heart.
    Do you all help me
    With supernatural power,
    And you, Day,
    And you, Night,
    All of you see me
    One with the world!
Homage to all sentient beings that have made my journey to this point possible.
Once you know the map all routes become clear.
