This is probably a big mistake posting this, but to err is so human. :)

It has been very frustrating since Kostas' books came out that there was no way to get any more information about the Mo Pai. Kindof like somebody eating in front of a starving person.

But I would encourage everyone to seek alternative sources of information about martial arts and other teachers. There are a lot of books out there, for example, Sifu Wong has written many books. You never know what you will turn up.

Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday season and a Happy New Year! (Chinese New Year in a little while too).

Many people who were interested in studying the Mo-Pai teachings are now going to the forum of David Shen. He offers training and the opportunity for people to meet and perhaps study with Masters who follow similar paths as the Mo-Pai. Shifu John Chang was one of David's teachers. You can go to the below forum for more details.

i coudent find the regular post thing so i clicked on reply, this is not a reply, actually mabey it is)

i have not been here for a long time because the last time i posted, nothing was replied to everytime i came on, but im sorry now that i ever stopped coming

first and foremost, please please no one fight! to be seperated destroys trust and knowledge of eachother, i cant stress enough what that means! look at the bigger picture and see that arguing is so petty, its not even worth the effort!pleease!! unite!unite!!

next, to everyone who's said otherwise, i dont mean any offense whatsoever,

to the moderaters, on hands and knees i ask you to keep this thread alive, and not to get rid of it! if it takes getting rid of the bad posts then please,

just do it! i cant speak for the handfulls searching for the mo pai path now, but for the sake of the ones who make it here, dont further get rid of any chance they have of making it!! if this was never here when i got here, id be blundering down a path of failure, no questions asked! but since i got here ive found guidence, and freinds, allies, comrads, not just runors and garble from speculators who know but mislead! forget the nonsense i wrote in the previous posts, if you need to, get rid of those, im not pathetically crying like a child, or some snivelling weak person witout hope, just read this and know, that those groping in the dark need as much guidence as possible, and though that cant be helped all the time, not everyone wont make it either! martial arts are not just supposed to be violent and slanderous right?? then dont give in to the slanderous pressure that says, ''shut down, shut out'' there are people out there counting on things like this happening too, dont underestimate that for a second either!
just because this is in words, dont belittle what this means, to those here, coming, and searching, know that if i could say this, i would

all in all, more than pleading, im asking you, to not make the suffering more, but to keep this thread alive, and keep the lost from wandering

with many respects and thanks, darkrider

Hi all,

Just finished reading the book, and I can honestly say... I don't know whether to believe it or not... but I am keeping a very open mind. The masters depicted in this book seem to be stronger than the fictional Jedi Masters!

If one is close to a level 72, hypothetically, could he be bulletproof?

I do remember Sifu Wong saying in his Q&A that no matter how much one trains in Iron Shirt or Golden Bell, they cannot resist the impact of a bullet.

Thanks,
Stephen

Thank you Sifu for making a decision and not go through with Antonius' suggestion to delete this thread. Many people are dying to learn yin yang gong.

David has given opportunities to visit yin yang gong masters:

This is a video of a master pushing and pulling objects from a distance with yin and yang chi (not telekinesis as telekinesis is defined as moving objects from a distance with the mind and not with chi)

Just wondering, Antonius, why did you delete the master's phone number in my previous post?

BTW, I've just heard that this "master" is a fake. But, I think direct experience should decide that....

I deleted the phone number because it's against the Rules and Regulations (http://wongkiewkit.com/forum/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_new_faq_item2).

Tu Le, stop making things worse. Mo Pai members have expressed a desire for privacy, and yet you totally disregard their wish by posting Kosta's website. Then you post another master's phone number, totally disregarding our forum rules. Now you question me?

I have a question for you: are you really a Shaolin Wahnam student? Do you really practice our arts and reap the benefits? Do you follow our Ten Shaolin Laws? If so, then why are you constantly searching outside when you already have jade in your house?

Hey,

Just thought that some might take an interest in a new video of John Chang that just came out. It aired on Sky satellite t.v. recently. David mentioned that he had seen it after a recent talk with shifu. I think the footage was captured in the late nineties at the high point of the Mo Pai relationship with western students; back when things were going well and John Chang was still talking about training a level four practitioner on every continent.

I don't know why Shifu allowed it to be aired at this point, but perhaps it was done without his consent or maybe he felt enough time has passed and showing the video wouldn't be as big an issue... I suspect the former, but I'm not really sure.

The whole thing is bitter sweet. I really feel that Shifu put his heart out there for those of us who are searching. Anyway, it's amazing to see.

The video is impressive ... but it was the end that impressed me most ...

How can we let our western curiosity and desire to put everything to the bright daylight cause so much pain ... leading a master to disrespect the teaching of his own master ? What good is knowledge about such abilities if we do not respect the wisdom of those transmitting it?

I was crying after watching the video and still feel pain ...

Thousands cheers for posting that, Sean.

God bless.

How can we let our western curiosity and desire to put everything to the bright daylight cause so much pain ... leading a master to disrespect the teaching of his own master ? What good is knowledge about such abilities if we do not respect the wisdom of those transmitting it? Well said, Andrea.

Suddenly, things are a lot clearer. After watching that video, it is clear to me why Sifu Chang decided to close his doors and stop sharing his secrets with the public. It was out of respect to his master. This is something that all of us in Shaolin Wahnam can appreciate.

Out of respect for Sifu Chang and Mo Pai, I am now closing this thread. We should respect Sifu Chang's decision, as well as his right to privacy and peace. He has already helped countless people by opening their eyes to the wonders of Mo Pai, and he continues to help his inner chamber students, which is traditional. Rather than selfishly expect to be shown more, people should be grateful for what they have already been given.

In my private discussions with various members of the Mo Pai organization, it was clear that they want peace and quiet. Those in search of Sifu Chang will not find him. People should not waste their time on a futile quest. Rather, they should respect the master's privacy, be thankful for the lessons learned, and continue their journey elsewhere.

On a final note, I would like to offer some advice for those searching for a master. The following articles might be of help:
